Cutfruit

Publication Design

Cutfruit is the second issue of Homeroom’s magazine where we explore the theme ‘roots.’ It is an idea that pushes us to grow and expand outwards, cultivate new experiences and relationships, and preserve and pass down our histories to future generations. Roots are multidimensional and intersect with other parts of our identities.

Reflection

At Homeroom UW, I focused on amplifying artist stories through intentional and impactful experiences. I worked closely with a dedicated team during the COVID quarantine, where care and collaboration were at the forefront of everything we did. Together, we created a platform that celebrated artists' unique narratives and creative visions, ensuring their stories resonated deeply with our diverse audience.

By fostering an environment of inclusivity and empathy, we highlighted the power of art to connect and inspire, even in the most challenging times. This role allowed me to contribute to a community where creativity and storytelling were embraced as essential tools for social change.
