Queery is both a play on the words queer and query, symbolizing the often uncertain and confusing period in many queer youths’ lives when their identities can feel ambiguous or marginalized. This conference intends to address the gaps in state-regulated sex education, which tends to be vague and heteronormative. For queer students, navigating topics around relationships and sexual health can be even more challenging due to the lack of representation and accurate media portrayals.
